Key Questions Answered#
The Intake Quiz classifies every project by risk level. Green and Yellow projects are low-risk internal tools that need minimal oversight. Orange and Red projects require formal review before launch. See Security Standards for the specific controls applied at each level.
See Tooling Strategy for cost planning frameworks and the Approved Tools list for current spend. Most Green-path tools cost under £50/month. Yellow and above may involve platform subscriptions or API costs that need line-item budgeting.
See Safeguarding & Under-18s for our obligations under UK GDPR, DPA 2018, and the ICO Age Appropriate Design Code. All student-facing AI requires Yellow path minimum, which includes additional review, data handling controls, and safeguarding checks before launch.
